Same-day openings

Call early and we will look for the soonest appropriate appointment.

Open late + Saturdays

Extended hours make urgent care easier to fit around work, school, and family.

Exam first

The dentist checks the problem and needed X-rays before recommending treatment.

Costs explained

Review treatment, insurance estimates, and payment choices before care begins.

First 24 hours

Follow the instructions your Brightly Dental team gave you at the visit, because recommendations can vary by procedure and diagnosis.

Avoid chewing while numb, rest as directed, take medications only as instructed, and keep the area clean without disturbing healing tissue.

Eating, cleaning, and comfort

Choose softer foods until chewing feels comfortable. Avoid hard, sticky, or sharp foods around new restorations, extraction sites, temporary crowns, implant areas, or sore teeth.

Brush and floss gently unless the team gave you different instructions. Mild soreness can happen after dental treatment, but symptoms should generally improve rather than get worse.

When to call

Call or text the office if pain is getting worse, swelling is increasing, bleeding will not slow, a temporary crown comes off, your bite feels high, you notice drainage or bad taste, or you are unsure whether healing feels normal.

If swelling affects breathing or swallowing, bleeding is uncontrolled, or you have a medical emergency, seek emergency medical care.

How the visit works

Start with a diagnosis, not a guess.

01
The dentist examines the problem.

The visit starts with your symptoms, a clinical exam, and needed imaging.

02
You review the treatment choices.

The dentist explains what needs attention, what can wait, and the risks and benefits of appropriate options.

03
You decide what happens next.

When same-day treatment is appropriate and available, you can choose it. Otherwise, the office helps schedule the next visit.
